THE ROOFTOP BAR AT THE SOCIAL HUB

I’m very happy to share my latest mural project for the rooftop of The Social Hub Barcelona, created hand by hand with The Invisible Party studio and the amazing The Social Hub team.

The Invisible Party (an Amsterdam-based design and branding studio internationally recognised for creating strong visual narratives) played a key role in shaping the concept of the space. Together, we worked closely with The Social Hub team to bring this ceiling mural to life, ensuring it became an integral part of the rooftop experience.

Vermut, brunch & afterwork

This new rooftop mural brings a vibrant, narrative-driven artwork to the ceiling, celebrating the energy of shared moments (from early morning meetups to late-night gatherings). The piece unfolds like a visual collage, divided into three lively scenes: brunch, vermut, and afterwork. It follows the natural rhythm of the day, from sunrise to sunset, inviting viewers to look up and discover new stories each time.

The mural was specially created to sit on a large lightbox covering the entire ceiling. This backlit surface allows the colours to shine, glow and vibrate more intensely than ever, enhancing every detail and creating an immersive, warm and dynamic atmosphere that transforms the rooftop into a lively, welcoming space day and night.

Drawing inspiration from Mexican culture, the mural features tacos, margaritas, mariachis, cowboy boots, and desert flora. These elements are interwoven with iconic symbols of Barcelona’s vermut hour, such as siphon bottles, olives on sticks, and classic vermut glasses.

So whenever you feel like it, go grab a mezcalita, enjoy some great cocktails, take in the views over Barcelona, and don’t forget to look up!!
